Testimonials
When a student completes his/her private tutoring sessions at the Boston Learning Center, we send parents a Program Evaluation Form. This Program Evaluation helps us gauge the strengths and weaknesses in our tutorial programs. Parents may respond anonymously if they wish.
The following are testimonials we have received from parents and students over the years...
"My daughter had to keep from failing Algebra so she wouldn’t have to repeat the year at Boston Latin. Her tutor seemed to be cooperative and very understanding of our "crisis." We’re pleased to say our daughter passed the course. She actually scored an A- on her final exam. Even her teacher at Boston Latin was amazed." -- Ms. Sabur
"Our son enjoyed his tutoring sessions and he worked very hard to complete all of his assignments. He has progressed a lot further this summer in reading with his tutor than he has been able to with his teachers in school." -- Mrs. Saunders
"My daughter’s tutor seems to have an excellent understanding of her strengths and weaknesses and has designed the sessions accordingly." -- Mrs. Byron
"The tutor brought out the best in my daughter. She made her feel comfortable. Her kindness, patience and gentle manner were just what my daughter needed." -- Mrs. Nurse
"My son has improved tremendously. I am extremely pleased that the Boston Learning Center was available for my son to attend." -- Anonymous Parent
"My son’s tutor was very strict, forward, and understanding. All the information was given very clearly. I plan on coming back in September." -- Ms. West
"My son enjoyed going to class because he liked his teacher. I think that makes a big difference in how he understood what he learned. He came home excited about what he learned. I am personally grateful. I feel my son will be happier going to school because he has a better understanding of math." -- Ms. Marklis
"There is no doubt my daughter’s tutoring classes helped her significantly. Her grades tell it all. Algebra went from a grade D to a grade B. Her tutor was very thoughtful and concerned." -- Ms. Springstead
"We really appreciated the time our tutor spent on the final evaluation and his suggestions for our son’s future classes." -- Mrs. Ensor
"My son’s tutor appears to understand his weakness and tutors him accordingly. He has established a good relationship with my son. He is very encouraging and nurturing. He always kept me up to date on my son’s progress and gave suggestions for working on areas of concern." -- Mrs. Mtembu
"I just wanted to let you know that I think you and your staff are doing great work. We really appreciate all your hard work. Thank you very much!" -- Mrs. Carruthers
